Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah just can’t wait to pull on the shirt for his ‘dream’ club Juventus.

The Ghana international joined the Serie-A champions from Udinese this summer in a deal reportedly worth US$11m.

The 23-year-old becomes only the second Ghanaian to play for the Old Lady, following the footsteps of Stephen Appiah and says can’t wait to get started.

"It's the best thing in my life, because Juventus  are a very big club, who won the championship last year,” he said.

"I have seen many of their games and I am very happy to be here.

"I can't wait to wear the famous jersey on my body, it is a childhood dream which has become a reality."

Asamoah moved to Italy in 2008 when he enjoyed a loan spell at Torino before joining Udinese.
