Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed joy at his Juventus teammate; Richmond Boakye-Yiadom’s debut goal for Ghana.

The Black Stars mounted a spirited comeback to draw 1-1 with China in an international friendly played last week in X’ian.

Boakye-Yiadom came on as a second half substitute to score in only his first appearance for the Black Stars with star striker Asamoah Gyan looking on from the bench.

The former Ghana U-20 star’s new teammate at Juventus Kwadwo Asamoah who also joined the Old Lady this summer from Udinese just couldn’t hide his excitement at his roommate’s debut goal.

“We drew 1 - 1 vs China. I’m happy for my roommate Richmond Boakye who scored on his debut for Ghana,” Asamoah tweeted.

The friendly against China is in preparations for the crucial ultimate 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi next month where the new Juventus duo are expected to play a part in.
