Gyan emphasised the importance of grassroots football, stating, "It’s a great opportunity for this generation to benefit from it. The other national teams are going to benefit from it. For me personally, I support grassroots football. So, being an ambassador, we are going to do everything to make sure we produce the stars."
This initiative aligns with Gyan's passion for developing young talent and promoting football growth in Africa.
The 2025 African Schools Championship is set to kick off in Accra, Ghana, on April 23, with the final scheduled for April 26 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
