Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan returned to action for his side Kayerispor in their 3-0 defeat to Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super League over the weekend.
The 33-year old was introduced into the game in the 64th minute as he substituted Atila Turan in the second half.
The all-time leading top scorer for Ghana had a good game and has so far featured in two games for his club since returning from injury.
Gyan will be hoping to be fit in time for the Africa Cup of Nations which comes off in June. He is expected to be named in Ghana's AFCON qualifier against Kenya on March 23, 2019 to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
