Asamoah Gyan announces his life time story coming on soon in a book.

Ex-Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed his yet-to-be-released book will serve as a source of encouragement to the youth and coming generations.

The former Sunderland and Al Ain top marksman also confirmed the launch will be in three countries-Ghana, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

Proceeds will go to the Asamoah Gyan Foundation.

Ghana president H.E Akufo-Addo and Liberia president George Oppon Weah-former FIFA Ballon d'or winner -have been penned down as special guests for the maiden event in Accra.

Gyan says his book chronicles his football story (from his childhood days to his illustrious career) and his new life as an entrepreneur.

Speaking at a media event in Accra, Ghana FA president showered praise on the country's all-time top scorer.

''The GFA under my leadership will ensure that Asamoah Gyan’s legacy is protected in this country,''

''He stood out as a legend and the GFA under my leadership will ensure that Asamoah Gyan's legacy is protected and to produce more legends.''

Gyan returned to the Ghana Premier League and signed up with Legon Cities FC but has had his campaign slowed by recurring injuries.
