Ghana football legend Asamoah Gyan has praised the CAF African Schools Championship, describing it as a fantastic opportunity to discover the next generation of African football stars.
As an ambassador for this year's edition, Gyan expressed his full support for the initiative and committed to contributing to its success.
Gyan emphasised the benefits of the championship, stating, "It’s a great opportunity for this generation to benefit from it. The other national teams are going to benefit from it. For me personally, I support grassroots football. So, being an ambassador, we are going to do everything to make sure we produce the stars."

The 2025 African Schools Championship is set to kick off in Accra, Ghana, on April 23, with the final taking place on April 26 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
