Asamoah Gyan returns to UAE to start Al Ain career

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has arrived in the UAE to start his loan stint with Al Ain after bidding a farewell to his former side Sunderland in England.

The attacker arrived in Abu Dhabi early on Thursday morning after visiting Sunderland to sort out his family's stay in England.

Gyan sealed the move to Al Ain in Abu Dhabi on Monday but travelled to England immediately after his unveiling to bring his personal belongings to the Gulf country.

The 25-year-old travelled to England but returned and started training with his new club.

He will not be available when they play a pre-season game on Friday but will be ready to for the start of the league next month.
