Kwadwo Asamoah is in Juventus squad to face Bayern Munich tonight

Kwadwo Asamoah was part of Juventus’ traveling party for their Champions League first leg encounter with Bayern Munich.

The Ghana international was chosen despite suffering a relative dip in form for the Italian champions since his return from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Asamoah played 60 minutes in the weekend’s win over Inter – giving a slight hint we will be the preferred starter in the wing-back position for Juventus against the German giants.

Striker Mirko Vucinic, who did not train today, is named among the travelling party after missing out on Saturday afternoon’s win over Inter due to a fever.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Giovinco also missed this morning’s workout after taking a knock towards the end of yesterday’s clash at the San Siro.

The full Bianconeri squad is as follows:

Buffon, Chiellini, Pogba, Marchisio, Vucinic, De Ceglie, Giovinco, Peluso Barzagli,  Anelka, Bonucci, Padoin, Pirlo, Asamoah, Vidal, Giaccherini Lichtsteiner, Quagliarella, Storari, Matri, Rubinho, Marrone
