Asante Kotoko announce signing of Brazilian forward Michael Vinicius

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of Brazilian forward Michael Vinicius. 

The former Fluminese striker joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two and a half year deal.

Vinicius becomes the second Brazilian to join the Reds in the ongoing campaign after the arrival of Fabio Gama at the start of the season.

“M I C H A E L  V I N I C I U S  Silva de Morais is a Porcupine Warrior. The Brazilian forward formerly of Fluminense (Brazil) , Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF (Sweden) joins us on a two-and-a-half year deal,” Kotoko wrote on Twitter.

He is seen as the replacement for prolific attacker Kwame Opoku, who has left for Algerian giants USM Alger.

Asante Kotoko currently sit third on the Ghana Premier League and are poised on winning the league.

He is the second signing for the Porcupine Warriors following the arrival of Solomon Sarfo Taylor three days ago.
