Asante Kotoko announce the signing of highly-rated teenager Isaac Oppong

Asante Kotoko SC have completed the signing of highly-rated youngster Isaac Oppong on a long-term contract, the club have announced.

The 18-year old forward joins the Porcupine Warriors from Division Two side Bectero Sassana on a four-year contract.

The outstanding teenager joined the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday after passing his medical examination.

Oppong had an impressive campaign in the Division Two last term which earned him "Neymar" by the football fans.

He bagged 22 goals and made 11 assists in 17 games in the Sunyani Division Two Zone.

The prolific goals scorer was closely monitored a host of top-flight clubs but Kotoko have landed the wonderkid.

Kotoko have been very busy in the transfer market having already acquired the services of Clinton Opoku, Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang and Samuel Boateng.

Medeama SC duo Richard Boadu and Samuel Appiah are expected to be announced as new players of the club on Monday.
