Asante Kotoko coach CK Akunnor has described goalkeeper Felix Annan as the best in the country after his heroics earned them a 2-1 win over Zesco United in their Confederation Cup clash.

Annan pulled off some great saves at the Baba Yara Stadium including saving Jesse Jackson's penalty in the first half which denied the Zambians the equaliser.

He also tipped Rahim Osmanu's header over the frame for a corner kick in the 88th minute for the Porcupine Warriors to hold onto their slim lead.

''Felix was brilliant and that's why he's there. He's No.1 in the country as far as goalkeeping in the country. No words to describe him. He helps the team a lot,'' Akunnor said in his post-match conference.
