Asante Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto returns from Portugal ahead of Aduana clash

Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has returned from Portugal to take charge of the team's matchday 27 Ghana Premier League clash against Aduana Stars.

The Portuguese tactician traveled to his native to renew his UEFA Pro coaching license and in his absence compatriot Pedro Manuel was in charge.

Barreto will take over as the Porcupine Warriors travel to Dormaa for the crucial encounter with the Ogya Boys.

The Kumasi-based giants will be chasing their first win in three games after back to back draws in the league.

Asante Kotoko relinquished top spot to fierce rivals Hearts of Oak last week.

The former Black Stars coach has been at the helm since the start of the second round, winning five games, drawing two and losing just a game.
