Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has called on his players to show high levels of energy and aggression when they take on Bechem United this Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors will play as guests to the Hunters at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in a round 10 Ghana Premier League match.
Kotoko are heading into the game on the back of two consecutive defeats to Legon Cities and Heart of Lions.
Speaking ahead of the match, Ogum urged his players to deliver a proactive performance at one of the most challenging venues to pick up points in the league.
“Make sure that the few chances that come our way are converted because they are a very resolute side.
“They are a very strong side. Physically, they are very strong, and they try to play a lot of long balls. We have to make sure that we are aggressive with and without the ball.
“We are very determined to run throughout the 90 minutes, with and without the ball, and make sure that the few chances that come our way are converted.
“That's the essence of the game: to convert your chances and then make sure that you defend the goals you have scored."
Kotoko currently sit third on the table with 15 points from nine games, while Bechem United are 10th with 11 points.
