Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will today September 30 commence training ahead of the new season which kicks off in November after a six-month break due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Government recently lifted the ban on all contact sports with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols.
The Porcupine Warriors undertook the mandatory COVID-19 test on Monday which turned out negative and the team is set to converge today at the training grounds at Adako Jachie to commence training.

"We are back at Adako Jachie", the club said in a statement.
Asante Kotoko will be representing Ghana in next season's CAF Champions League and have opted to use the Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue due to the renovation works ongoing at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The preliminary round of the CAF Champions League starts from 27 November with the first registration period to start from 21st October to 10th November, 2020.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu is expected to use a small squad ahead of the new season.
