Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of defender Patrick Asmah ahead of the new season.
The left-back passed medical on Friday before signing a two year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
The former Ghana youth star joins as a free agent after his contract with Italian side Atalanta came to an end last summer.
Asmah signed for the Bergomi-based club from B.A United in 2016 after his swashbuckling display for Ghana's U-20 at the 2015 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
He failed to break into the first team of Atalanta was loaned out three times.
The 24-year-old becomes Kotoko’s third signing this window after they secured signings of Emmanuel Keyekeh and Yusif Mubarik.
Kotoko are hoping for an excellent season as they compete in three competitions, including the CAF Champions League.
