Communications Director of Asante Kotoko Obed Acheampong has reiterated his outfit's confidence in coach Samuel Fabin despite their abysmal start to the season.

Fabin, who joined the Porcupine Warriors prior the campaign, has largely failed to steer the team to the heights expected by their management - having lost four games, drawn three and masterminding just four wins as they sit 10th on the log after 11 round of matches.

Reports went rife during the past week that, the former Ghana U17 trainer couldn't contain the pressure coming fans anymore as he tendered in his resignation letter - only for the reports to be quashed by the club that very day.

But fresh reports emerging the camp of the Porcupines indicates that the coach could face the sack should they fail to overcome Bechem United on Match Day 12.

Obed Acheampong has however dismissed that claims by insisting that management has given him vote of confidence even if result from the clash against the Hunters go against them.

"Paa Kwasi Fabin has the support of management to work for the club. Supporters will agitate and it's not surprising some are calling for his head, yes because things are not well but every true supporter will rally behind the club in these trying times," Acheampong told Oyerepa FM.

"Forcefully driving the coach away from the team cannot solve the problem but it's a matter of time."
