Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad is set to join Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Chelsea, on a season-long loan ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Sources indicate that the young goalkeeper has informed the technical team to sanction his move to join Berekum Chelsea on loan as he searches for more playtime.

Danlad was on loan to the club in the 2019/20 season which was later cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ghana U-20 goalkeeper had a tremendous campaign with Berekum Chelsea where he held the longest clean sheet streak of six matches without conceding a goal last season which was cancelled.

Danlad is set to leave as he will have to compete with club captain Felix Annan, Kwame Baah and Osei Kwame at the goalkeeping position.
