Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has praised his teammates' attitude in their goalless draw against Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya.

The Porcupine Warriors held the Kenyans in Nairobi to ensure they return to Ghana with the advantage ahead of the second leg in Kumasi on December 22nd.

Annan who made sure he did not concede was elated with the outcome of the game, praising his teammates for a resilient performance.

"Great attitude from the lads! Now lets finish the job in Kumasi on December 22nd. Team work, hard work, determination," he tweeted.

The Reds are expected in the country this afternoon and will head straight to Kumasi to begin preparation for the must win game against the Kenyans.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko coach C.K Akunor expressed satisfaction in the performance of his players and believes they have the edge ahead of the second leg.

“We are satisfied with the result because we didn’t lose,” said Akonnor. "We could have won because we had chances to score. We came here to get a good result, meaning we can be satisfied with a draw or win.”

“I don’t want to be too selfish. This was an away match. We have to go back home, do a bit of homework and find a method to win the second leg.”
