Asante Kotoko land in Ghana after international friendly against Tanzanian giants Simba FC

Asante Kotoko are back in Ghana after their 1-1 stalamate against Simba FC in a high-profile international friendly on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors touched base at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra on Friday enroute to their base in the country's second largest city, Kumasi.

Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan saved a penalty as the two teams shared the spoils at the National stadium in Dar Es Salam, Tanzania.

Striker Obed Owusu put the visitors ahead in the 44th minute before Ugandan attacker Emmanuel Okwi restored parity on 77 minutes mark.

The two teams sold out an entertaining clash to mark Simba Day in the East African country.
