Asante Kotoko SC defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has signed a new long-term contract with the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The versatile defender will stay with the Porcupine Warriors for another five years as he put pen to paper on the new deal on Monday.
Badu's contract expired in May 2020 and was negotiating with the club for an extension ever since.
The 24-year-old joined the Ghanaian giants in 2019 from Phar Rangers and has since been an integral part of the team.
Badu made 12 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and two appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup respectively last season.
