Asante Kotoko SC have overtaken bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak in the recent African Football Digital Benchmark rankings.
The two Ghanaian giants were ranked among the top 30 football clubs with growing numbers on their digital communities.
The rankings were done taken into consideration the followers, likes and subscribers to the club's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Periscope, LinkedIn and YouTube pages or channels.
Asante Kotoko are ranked 27th in Africa with a total of 402,000 followers from all the six digital platforms.
Hearts of Oak are just place behind the Porcupine Warriors sitting at the 28th position with a total of 382,000 followers from their six digital communities.
Asante Kotoko's participation in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2019 and the 2019/2020 seasons enhanced their increased numbers leapfrogging the Phobians.
Hearts of Oak had been leading Asante Kotoko in the rankings from last year.
