Asante Kotoko SC snap up young goalkeeper Dennis Votere Sungbawiere from second-tier Wa Suntaa SC

Asante Kotoko SC are on the verge of signing young goalkeeper Dennis Votere Sungbawiere from Wa Suntaa SC ahead of the upcoming season.

The 21-year-old shot stopper has already arrived in Kumasi and has undergone his medicals on Monday.

The Ghanaian giants are expected to announce the signing of the highly rated goalkeeper in the coming days.

Votere was instrumental for Wa Suntaa as he guided them to earn promotion to the Ghanaian second-tier in 2017 having kept 11 clean sheets in 18 games.

In 2008, the talented goalkeeper was handed an invitation to the Ghana U20 national team.

Votere will join the rest of team to undergo COVID-19 testing on Tuesday and will also begin training with the Porcupine Warriors on Thursday.
