Asante Kotoko have renewed its contract headline sponsors MTN and oil marketing firm GOIL.

This was disclosed by the club's General Manager Nana Gyambibi Coker.

It is massive breather for the club after the leading telecommunication company in the country froze the deal last month.

''We have been able to renew both contracts. Currently MTN will be paying Kotoko from January to March in fulfilling their promise,'' Coker is quoted as saying.

MTN's sponsorship agreement with Kotoko dates back to January 2011 when a deal was signed for an annual amount of GH¢1,050,000.
