Asante Kotoko striker Toure signs for Petrojet

Egyptian side Petrojet have announced they have reached a two-year agreement to sign Kotoko's Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure.

Petrojet coach Ramadan has followed the exploits of the 24-year-old in the Ghana Premier League and he is convinced he will fill the void to be created by Eric Bekoe's imminent departure from the club.

The Ivorian-born-who switched nationality to play for Burkina Faso had his move to Al Masry hit the snag after he reportedly failed his medical.

Ghana's CAF Champions League flagbearers Berekum Chelsea were linked with a move to sign the former African Sports hit-man.

Toure netted six times last season for Kotoko in 13 appearances.
