Asante Kotoko Supporter’s Chief Obeng Sekyere has disclosed that the team is struggling to get members to constitute its Board due to fear of being victimized.

The Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Board has directed Asante Kotoko to constitute a Board as part of the club licensing requirements.

The Porcupine Warriors have failed to meet the deadlines set by the Club Licensing Board and have been fined as a result.

Speaking in an interview, Obeng Sekyere, Vice President of the Supporter’s Group  revealed that the club is struggling to constitute the board because members approached are not willing to take up the role.

“What we are hearing is that persons approached to come and help don't want to because they fear the kind of insults they will be subjected to.But the consultations are still on going”,he told Oyerepa FM.

Asante Kotoko may be relegated from the Ghana Premier League and also fined Ghc 20,000 should they fail to constitute the Board before the deadline.
