Asante Kotoko SC will shift their focus on academy project for the next generation of talents under new CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.

Amponsah's appointment as the club's chairman comes with a lot for expectations which includes a standard and solid youth development team in the next years.

Life patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has directed the Board of directors to set up the Asante Kotoko academy and establish a new social impact with Asanteman to provide opportunities for the development of the youth within the communities for advancement through sports.

Amponsah is ambitious of making the Porcupine Warriors great again during his three-year reign as the club's CEO.

The former Ghana FA presidential candidate has expertise in sports governance and his experience in football development will come to bare in the new Asante Kotoko.

Amponsah holds Master's Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester de Montfort University in the United Kingdom.
