Asante Kotoko legend Sarfo Gyamfi is undoubtedly confident the Porcupine Warriors will annex the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season.
The Ghanaian giants defeated Aduana Stars 2-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in their last Premier League showdown, ending their five game winless streak.
With 18 points, Kotoko find themselves in the 7th position, five points behind log leaders Bibiani Goldstars.
Sarfo Gyamfi was in attendance on Sunday when Kotoko inflicted a 2-0 win over Division One League club, Future Stars to advance in the FA Cup competition.
Speaking to Kessben FM, as followed by Ghanasoccernet.com, the former Kotoko defender affirmed the club will clinch the 2024/25 Premier League title
“I’m happy with the teams return to the Baba Yara Stadium. We did a lot of things here before the change in venue. I didn’t like Obuasi so I decided not watch our games there. We are back to where we belong and is going to pay off for us”
“The spirit of the team is in Kumasi. We just have to pray for the team but I’m sure Kotoko will win the league”
Asante Kotoko will face archrivals Hearts of Oak when the Premier League resumes after the break.
