Asante Kotoko have been hit with another resignation just a day after their coach Paa Kwesi Faabin left his role at the club.

Derrick Owusu, who joined the Porcu[ine Warriors when Paa Kwesi Fabin assumed his position at the club handed in his resignation on Friday.

It is believed Owusu's relationship with Fabin forced him to leave the club since his boss is no longer at the club.

Public Relations Officer of the Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Duku confirmed Owusu's resignation on Kumasi based radio station Metro FM.

“Derick Owusu has resigned from his role as physical trainer alongside Paa Kwesi Fabin. He, Owusu,  handed us his letter of resignation on Friday.” Communication director Sarfo Duku said on Metro FM.

Meanwhile, Paa Kwesi Fabin is reported to be joining newly promoted National First Division (NFD) outfit Maccabi FC in South Africa.

Derrick Owusu could join his boss in South Africa in the coming weeks.
