Uriah Asante has the backing of his manager Isaac Tetteh to move to Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.

The 20-year-old has ruled out staying with Hearts of Oak after spending two successive loan spells with the capital-based side.

Kotoko have expressed interest in luring the talented midfielder to the Garden City.

Asante is owned by Ghanaian second-tier side Pure Joy FC.

"He played for Hearts and he faced a lot of problems. I will not stop him from joining Kotoko," Isaac Tetteh, the owner of PureJoy FC.

"Even though I am a Hearts supporter I won’t stop any of my players from achieving their dreams."

Asante won gold at the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
