Despite his profligacy, the 26-year-old striker has been productive with assists after recording five in the side's ongoing CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

And Mr. Osei Mensah, who was at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to witness the Porcupine Warriors inflict a 2-1 defeat on Zambian giants ZESCO United in week two CAF Confederation Cup, urged Yacouba not to let his poor scoring form on linger on his mind when he's faced with a scoring opportunity.

“Sogne Yacouba should keep his composure, he shouldn't be in a haste to score least he will squander a lot of chances, he told Oyerepa FM after the game.

“He contributed to the two goals but he should up his game but it should not bring pressure on him, so far he has not scored which is not the best. He should calm down, take it cool and play ,he will get back his goals, he added.

Yacouba is currently on a goal drought and has failed to score in seven competitive games for the Porcupine Warriors against AshantiGold in the John Agyekum Kuffour Cup, Kariobangi Sharks, Coton Sports, Al Hilal and ZESCO United.
