AshantiGold players and officials were on an excursion at the club’s headline sponsors Permafix Industries Limited in Accra.

It was the first time officials of the tile adhesive producers were meeting the playing and technical bodies since penned a one-year contract last year.

The entire contingent which included the transfer deadline day quartet- Frederick Quayson, Emmanuel Nti Mensah, Godfred Rockson and Daniel Addo-were taken round the factory where products like color grouts, tile cleaning chemical waterproof cement admix (plasticizers) and dry mortar are produced.

Managing Director of Permafix Industries, Fady Abou-Chedid, expressed delight at the visit and tasked the team to do well in the league and in Africa.

The club took up the challenge and promised to do their brand and enhance the Permafix brand as the company seeks to tile Africa.

The players also fraternized with workers of Permafix.
