AshantiGold SC record zero positive cases in COVID-19 testing

AshantiGold SC players and technical staff have recorded no positive case following a COVID-19 testing conducted by the club.

The first team players and the technical staff of the Ghana Premier League side were tested for the coronavirus on Wednesday.

All of the players and coaching staff at the club tested negative for the novel coronavirus when the results for Wednesday's tests returned to the management.

AshantiGold conducted the testing on the players and technical team as they prepare for the resumption of football activities in the country.

The four-time Ghana Premier League champions will competing in the domestic league and the CAF Confederation Cup for glories next season.

The Ghana FA has tentatively set the second week of October for the start of the 2020/2021 season pending government approval.

Football activities in Ghana remain suspended until further notice.
