Ashantigold plan to gazump Galatasary’s bid to sign ex-Hearts striker Edwin Osei Pele.

Pele is currently looking for a new club after he parted ways with the capital-based club at the end of last season.

It has been reported that Turkish giants Galatasary have expressed interest in the player with the former Aduana Stars loanee expected to undergo trials in January next year.

But Ashantigold are hoping to steal the march on Galatasary by prizing him away to join their ranks.

Officials of the Obuasi-based side are believed to have held preliminary discussions with the player and would hope to seal the deal in the coming days.

Ashantigold are keen to strengthen their squad after a stuttering start to their Premier League campaign.
