AshantiGold share spoils with New Edubiase in Bekwai

Kofi Amoako picked his first point as a stop-gap coach of AshantiGold as his side drew 1-1 with New Edubiase at Bekwai on Saturday.

Amoako took charge of the side for the first time after head coach Yaw Acheampong and his assistant Kamara Dini were sacked earlier this week.

The miners took a first half lead through striker Yakubu Mohammed before substitute Stephen Manu pulled level with a well taken free-kick in the second half.

The result leaves the miners in 6th on the table with 17 points, two points more of Edubiase who lie 9th on the table.
