Nollywood USA Actor/Journalist Paul Asher T has been officially confirmed by NAFCA President and Founder, Dr Victor Olatoye, to be Master of Ceremonies, alongside Hostess & Nollywood Actress Angela Okorie and Guest Host, seasoned Nollywood Actor Van Vicker. The Nollywood & African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA) ceremony, scheduled to take place on September 15 & 16 2012 in Raleigh-Durham, NC is expected to draw a much larger crowd than the previous year, as its entire operation has been enhanced to accommodate the overflow of film projects sent to the board this year. Naturally, several other industry professionals are expected to attend the two day event, also dubbed ‘The African Oscars’.

The spotlight however is on the choice of MC for this year, who has shown an extraordinary amount of skill as a Voice and Film Actor, as well as a sublime charisma with freelance journalism. In just over 24 months, Paul Asher T has produced several projects including radio commercials, high profile red carpet and televised interviews with celebrities, government officials and entrepreneurs, promotional videos for several organizations, and has also been a strong proponent of ideals and strategies to transform the African Film Industry into a major financial competitor on a global level.

Having been introduced into the Multimedia Industry by 3G Media Mogul Mr. Charles Nimoh Ntiamoah-Mensah, he has since proven himself as a modern day success story. With little to nothing at his disposal, this Actor/Director, Voice Coach, Freelance Journalist, Writer and Producer was able to challenge himself to accomplish all the above credentials and more and today, the versatility and skill factor of Paul Asher T are evident in his works, with directional mentoring coming from the likes of King Kwasi Kyei Darkwa and very recently Dr. Victor Olatoye, who has since applauded his decision to choose none other than Asher T for this year’s MC spot.

It is widely anticipated that he’d enthrall his audience with his myriad of accents from all over Africa, Great Britain, Australia and the Americas. 3G Media salutes one of its own and will be in attendance to cheer him on and also steadily look on the rest of the Paul Asher T era with wishes of adeptness and serendipity for its star icon.
