Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah has received an amount of GHC180, 000 from Ashfoam to support his foundation.
The foundation which was launched last year is aimed at improving the welfare of retired sportsmen by providing financial, health aid and skill development.
And as part of Ashfoam's co-operate social responsibility, the leading foam manufacturing company donated the cash to support the work of the Black Stars trainer.
Kwesi Appiah received the said amount at the offices of Ashfoam on Thursday.
Kwesi Appiah will begin preparation with the Black Stars team ahead of the upcoming Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
