AshantiGold beat Aduana Stars 2-1 in Dormaa Ahenkro.

Yakubu Mohammed inspired AshantiGold to a vital 2-1 win at Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The 24-year-old scored the opener for the visitors in the 37th minute before setting up Mohammed Latif for the doubler in the 55th minute.

AshGold appeared cruising and were dominating play and looked likely to score more goals, but Emmanuel Allan snatched a late consolation for Aduana.

The Miners are now fifth on the table but tied on points with fourth place Ebusua Dwarfs.
