Former Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani has described AshGold's title triumph as a vindication as he predicted it before the commencement of the 2014/25 league season.

The head coach of the Black Princesses had hinted that the Aboakese lads would win the league before it finally kicked off and has insisted that he has been vindicated by the title winning feat of the miners.

"Even though I was the coach of Kotoko before the league started, I knew AshGold were in a better position to win the league. They had quality material and their players had been consistent with the team", the former Asante Kotoko manager said.

"Their performance during the previous season was not very encouraging and they indicated earlier before the season that they were coming in for the trophy".

"They won the top four and had a better preseason. They did not play many matches during the preseasonĂ‚  and did not sign many new players. So they were peaking at the right time for the league".

"I feel vindicated by their performance as they have really demonstrated that what I said before the league started was true".

Didi Dramani won the 2013/14 league for Kumasi Asante Kotoko as well as the FA Cup.
