Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have confirmed partnership talks with South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs.
Officials of both teams have held fruitful discussions that centered on how both teams can work together with development in the future key on the table.
Chiefs officials are in the country to undertake feasibility studies on the progress of work and facilities at the club's academy.
AshGold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo is optimistic the partnership will yield positive results.
"I travelled to South Africa last week to meet officials of the club and we had a productive discussion with Kaizer Chief. What came out of it was good and we think we can benefit tremendously from the partnership," Fianoo said.
