WAFA SC assistant coach Akakpo Patron is still at post despite reports he is heading to his former club Asante Kotoko.

The ex-striker has been identified as the perfect tactical brain to assistant Englishman Steve Pollack.

But Patron has reported to camp in Sogakope as the Academy Boys prepare to get pre-season underway.

''The media that is spreading the this because nothing is concrete that Akakpo is joining Kotoko,'' WAFA Operation Manager George Ofosuhene told Starr FM

''If there is something l know Kotoko as a bigger club they will come to the club to seek for permission to speak to him.

''As we are speaking now we are still waiting if something fruithful will come out from it.''
