The new deal is wade off interest by Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United. Arsenal though are said to be firm favourites as they are prepared to trigger Partey's 50 million euro buyout clause in the summer.
The new offer for the Black Stars midfielder will see his release clause rise up to â¬93 million according to reports in Spain.
However, negotiations have been halted due to the uncertainty surrounding the culmination of the campaign.
Partey has been a vital part of Diego Simeone's plans this season making 24 LaLiga appearances and eight in the Champions League in the 2019/20 season.
