The Portugal international was influential as Atletico defeated rivals Real Madrid 7-3 in the International Champions Cup with Felix scoring his first goal for the club and assisting two more. Teammate Koke has been impressed and said the youngster has what it takes to become an important player in world football.

"He's an unbelievable footballer," Koke said in an exclusive interview with ESPN Deportes. "He's a young kid, only 19 years old and he's got a lot of football ahead of him.

"He can still improve in a lot of areas. He possesses a lot of talent and I believe that he's going to be one of the best players in the world and that's why they paid what they paid for him. Little by little, I'm sure he'll demonstrate his quality."

Atletico manager Diego Simeone also told ESPN that he is "excited" that the Portuguese forward is part of the club's new project but he does not want to put too much pressure on him.

Atletico will face the MLS All-Stars in Orlando on Wednesday in their final match of their U.S. preseason tour.
