Christian Atsu has credited his colleagues for Ghana’s total performance against Niger in their final group game on Monday night.

The Black Stars recorded a comprehensive 3-0 win over the Menas in a lively game at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The 20-year-old was simply out of this world as he put up a scintillating display, scoring his Nations Cup debut goal in the process.

He was voted the man-of-the-match but credited his teammates for their collective effort.

“We had lots of possession which is very important. Because  a winger will not  defend much but get the strength to attack,”Atsu said

“For me I’m very happy for my teammates for what they did for me.

“Winning this game was very important.”

The Black Stars have set-up a quarter-final clash against the Blues Sharks of Cape Verde.
