Christian Atsu has credited his colleagues for Ghana’s total performance against Niger in their final group game on Monday night.
The Black Stars recorded a comprehensive 3-0 win over the Menas in a lively game at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth.
The 20-year-old was simply out of this world as he put up a scintillating display, scoring his Nations Cup debut goal in the process.
He was voted the man-of-the-match but credited his teammates for their collective effort.
“We had lots of possession which is very important. Because  a winger will not  defend much but get the strength to attack,â€Atsu said
“For me I’m very happy for my teammates for what they did for me.
“Winning this game was very important.â€
The Black Stars have set-up a quarter-final clash against the Blues Sharks of Cape Verde.
