Attacker Braydon Manu nets 4th league goal as Darmstadt sink Erzgebirge Aue in Bundesliga 2

Ghanaian forward Braydon Marvin Manu was on the scoresheet in FC Darmstadt 1898 drubbing of FC Erzgebirge Aue in the Bundesliga 2 on Saturday.

Darmstadt recorded a massive 6-0 victory Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor to leapfrog St. Pauli and Werder Bremen in the promotion chase.

They are currently 2nd placed on the league standings with two points behind leaders Schalke 04 with two games left to close the season.

The victory has also confirmed Aue's relegation to the Bundesliga 3.

The home side scored three goals within three minutes with goals coming Luca Pfeiffer in the 17th minute, Tim Starke scored a minute later before Manu got his goal in the 19th minute.

Manu turned to be the provider for Starke to net his goal in the game as Darmstadt increased their advantage six minutes from recess.

Midfielder Mathias Honsak scored in the 74th minute and another goal by Tobias Kempe on the stroke of full-time sealed the victory for Darmstadt.

Manu has 4 goals and 4 assists in 19 matches for Darmstadt in the German second-tier league this campaign.
