ENGLAND 

Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was left out Arsenal's team that cruised to a 4-0 win Wigan to move up to fifth place in the Premier League.

In the Championship, Watford continued their revival in smooth fashion with a 2-1 win at Ipswich Town.

Prince Buaben was replaced by John Eustace after 56 minutes for Watford.

Leeds United made it two wins out of two with a 2-0 brushing aside of Millwall at the Elland Road Stadium.

Speedster Lloyd Sam came on for the injured Jonathan Howson just after 36 minutes.

There was neither Jeffrey Schulpp nor John Pantsil in the Leicester City team which lost 2-1 at Hull City.

Middlesbrough handed Bristol City their first defeat in six games after beating them 1-0 at the Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday.

Albert Adomah played full time for Bristol City.

In the Conference National League, Andy Yiadom lasted the entire match for Braintree Town who lost 4-1 at Mansfield Town.

GERMANY 

Central defender Isaac Vorsah played full throttle for Hoffenheim as they extended their winless run to five matches at Bayer Leverkusen.

In the Bundesliga II, winger Mohammed Lartey missed Hansa Rostock's  3-0 defeat at Greuther Fürth due to injury.

Ghana international midfielder Charles Takyi was left out of the St Pauli side which drew 1-1 at Paderborn.

In the Liga 3, Jurgen Duah did not play in Preußen Münster's 3-0 loss at Offenbach Kickers.

Striker Eric Agyemang grabbed a brace for Arminia Bielefeld who defeated Werder Bremen II 3-2 at their own background.

The former AshGold striker scored on the 6th and 34th minutes to help the strugglers. Defender Marcel Appiah warmed the bench for Bielefeld.

Rot-Weiß Erfurt closed the points gap at the top four of the table with a 1-0 win at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen 1904.

Jeff Gyasi was sent off four minutes before the break for a second bookable offence.

While Phil Ofosu-Aryeh was watching from the Erfurt bench, compatriot Denis Danso-Weidlich was playing full throttle for Erfurt.

ITALY

Kwadwo Asamoah was a full timer and compatriot  Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu an unused substitute for Udinese who beat Inter Milan 1-0 at the San Siro.

Kevin-Prince Boateng returned from suspension to set up Milan's second goal when they defeated Genoa 2-0 at their own backyard.

Young midfielder Amidu Salifu made his debut Serie A debut coming on as an 81st minute substitute for Fiorentina who thumped nine-man AS Roma 3-0.

In the Serie B, striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom failed to end his goal drought over the weekend as his side Sassuolo drew 1-1 at Crotone.

Boakye came off the bench after 74 minutes but could not score. Compatriot Isaac Cofie played the full duration for Sassuolo.

Yaw Asante did not make the trip with Grosseto who won 2-1 at Pescara.

Youngster Mase Nana Addo Welbeck played with Brescia's reserves as they returned from their trip to Varese with a precious point after a 2-2 draw.

In the Primavera, Parma recorded a 4-1 loss to Sampdoria.

Ghana Under-20 pair Godfred Adolfo and Bright Addae both started the match for Parma but Adolf was replaced after the first 45 minutes because of injury.

Ball-holding Joseph Alfred Duncan played the entire 90 minutes for Inter Milan who recorded at 2-1 loss at Bologna.

Edmund Etse Horttor missed out of AC Milan's 3-2 win over Varese because of injury.

Goalkeeper Karim Mumuni kept the post for Cariano who beat Massa Lombarda 2-0.

Ghanaian trio of Maxwell Boadu Acosty, Daniel Kofi Agyei and Nii Nortey Ashong were all in action for Fiorentina who drew 1-1 at Novara.

In the Allievi Nazionali league, Isaac Donkor played 90 minutes for Inter Milan which lost 1-0 to Chievo Verona.

FRANCE 

Jordan and Andre Ayew scored in each half to help Marseille beat Caen 2-1 at the Stade Michel d'Ornano.

Andre opened the scoring for Marseille on 21 minutes before Jordan sealed the three points with a cool finish on the 52nd minute.

Defender Jerry Vandam played at right-back for Caen.

New boys Evian edged Valenciennes 2-1 at their favourite Parc des Sports to move up to 11th place.

Jonathan Mensah though has recovered from injury did not make the Evian first team same as Rabiu Mohammed. 

John Boye received a straight red card on 46 minutes when Stade Rennes recorded their first defeat in five games losing 2-0 to relegation-threatened Nice.

Black Stars captain John Mensah was left out of the Olympique Lyon squad that scrapped a 3-2 victory over Toulouse at the Municipal de Gerland.

In the Ligue 2, speedster Haminu Dramani, who is suspended, was not in the Arles first team who failed to lift themselves out of the relegation zone when they drew 0-0 with Chateauroux.

Moussa Narry played at right-back for Le Mans who held Amiens to a 0-0 to better their chances of relegation survival.

Dennis Appiah reclaimed his place in the Monaco starting line-up but was unable to help them avoid a 2-0 home loss to Metz.

In the reserves league, Kamal Issah scored the only goal that earned Stade Rennes a 1-1 draw at Lacmine.

Former U20 striker Kwame Nsor grabbed a brace for Metz in their 6-1 win over Villefranche.

HOLLAND 

Kwame Quansah made the headlines with a spectacular goal from scissor kick when Heracles Almelo destroyed VVV Venlo 7-0 on Friday.

The former Ajax Amsterdam youngster had had an earlier penalty appeal turned down.

Nana Akwesi Asare returned from suspension to play 90 minutes for  FC Utrecht who suffered a disgraceful 6-2 drubbing to FC Twente.

Stanley Aborah Junior scored on his full debut for Vitesse Arnhem as they condemned RKC Waawijk to a 4-0 defeat. Aborah made it 3-0 for Vitesse on the stroke of half time.

Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan pulled the strings in midfield for Vitesse.

Veendam failed to claim maximum points at home and remain in the drop zone after drawing 2-2 with Fortuna Sittard.

Defender Mitch Apau played at center-back for Veendam but striker Jonathan Opoku was left out.

Former Ghana U17 striker Kelvin Bossman played 81 minutes for Helmond Sport who lost 1-0 to Emmen on home grounds.

Striker Gideon Boateng warmed the bench for MVV in their 2-2 draw with AGOVV.

TURKEY

Manisaspor maintained third place after holding Mersin to a 0-0 draw. Jerry Akaminko was a pillar in defence for Manisaspor but striker Matthew Amoah failed to make it into the Mersin first team.

Striker Prince Tagoe was excluded from the Bursaspor first team that lost 1-0 to Eskisehirspor on home grounds.

In the Turkish second-tier league, Göztepe pipped Tav?anl? 1-0 to move up to ninth place.

Former Berekum Chelsea striker Bismark Idan missed out of the Göztepe first team squad. Torric Djibril did not feature for Bucaspor who drew 2-2 with Adanaspor.

Obed Owusu failed to score for bottom-placed Güngörenspor who drew 0-0 at Çaykur Rizespor.

Both Paul Aidoo and Benjamin Boateng were unused subs for Güngörenspor.

SERBIA

Vojvodina trounced Borac Cacak 3-1 to make it four wins out of four.

There was neither Abraham Frimpong nor Yaw Antwi in the Vojvodina team that won the game.

Defender Lee Addy played 90 minutes and helped Red Star Belgrade to beat Rad Beograd 2-1.

Quincy Osei was an unused substitute for Hajduk Kula who lost 2-1 to Sloboda on home grounds. Francis Bossman did not play for Sloboda.

UKRAINE

Winger Abeiku Quansah was rested when his Arsenal Kiev suffered a 5-0 drubbing at Shakhtar Donetsk on Friday.

Defender Daniel Addo played in central defence for FC Zorya as they lost 2-1 to Obolon.

Dnipro slipped to fifth place after going down 3-2 at Kryvbas.

Versatile winger Samuel Inkoom played 45 minutes but Derek Owusu Boateng did not play for Juande Ramos' side.

GREECE

Francis Dickoh scored on the 44th minute to help Aris beat Panathinaiko 3-1 and move out of the drop zone.

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie was replaced after 85 minutes.

Defender David Addy was booked on the 76th minute when Olympiakos defeated his Panaitolikos 2-0.

Abdul Osman was in full time action for Kerkyra when they lost 1-0 at AEK Athens.

Bernard Yao Kumordzi helped Panionios to hold Levadiakos to a goalless draw.

ISRAEL

Sam Yeboah set up FC Ashdod's first goal and played 86 minutes to help his side win 2-1 against Hapoel Rishon Letzion.

Eric Gawu played 63 minutes of Bnei Sakhnin's 2-1 victory over Hapoel Petah Tikva.

Former Kessben FC defender Daniel Addo played full throttle for Hapoel Petah Tikva.

BELGIUM

Germinal Beerschot recorded a 2-0 win over Genk. Marvin Ofori-Appiah warmed the bench for Genk.

Rahim Ayew played the entire 90 minutes for Lierse BK who drew 2-2 with KV Mechelen.

Abdul Yakeen Iddi missed the game due to suspension.

William Owusu Acheampong did not play in Westerlo's 1-0 home loss to Club Brugge.

Daniel Opare missed out of Standard Liege's 0-0 with Gent.

Striker Patrick Amoah warmed the bench for OH Leuven who surprisingly held Anderlecht to a 0-0 draw. Dennis Odoi was an unused substitute for Anderlecht.

CYPRUS

Alki helped themselves to a 1-0 win over Nea Salamis and move out of the relegation zone.

Lukeman Imoro was red carded on 38 minutes while striker Chris Dickson played full time for Nea Salamis.

Carlos Ohene was introduced in the 59th minute but was replaced on ten minutes. Abdul Rahman lost his place in the Alki first team.

DENMARK

Nordsjaelland remained in 2nd place despite being held to a 0-0 on home grounds by FC Midtjylland.

Enock Adu-Kofi was used in central midfield and named man-of-the match.

POLAND

Fred Benson was an unused sub for Lechia Gda?sk who lost 3-1 on home grounds to Polonia Warszawa.

SWITZERLAND

Ishmael Yartey lasted the entire match for troubled FC Servette who lost 1-0 to FC Zurich at home.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 

Striker Asamoah Gyan grabbed a brace to earn a precious point that sent Al Ain to send spot.

The Sunderland loanee scored on the 13th and 49th minutes to help his side draw 2-2 with Bani Yas.
