Ayew brothers play as West Ham ace Andre triumphs over brother Jordan of Swansea City
Cheikhou Kouyate's first-half strike was his fourth goal of the season

Ghanaian brothers played for the opposing sides in the English Premier League as Andre Ayew helped West Ham to end a five-game losing run as they gained a much-needed win over Jordan Ayew's Swansea City.

Andre played for 86th minutes in the game before he was substituted while Jordan played the entire duration of the match on Saturday.

The victory gave Andre the family bragging rights as the elder brother's triumph boosts his side's campaign.

Andre Ayew was twice denied by Fabianski, before being replaced by Fernandes.

The Hammers took a deserved lead just before half-time when Cheikhou Kouyate collected a Robert Snodgrass pass and scored with a stunning low 25-yard strike.

Swansea substitute Luciano Narsingh came closest to an equaliser for the visitors but his powerful strike went just over.

The result leaves Swansea in the bottom three of the Premier League with only six games left to secure their top-flight survival.
