Dynamo Moscow manager Dmitry Khokhlov believes Aziz Tetteh's early red card cost them maximum points against Arsenal Tula in the opening day of the Russian Premier League.

The Ghanaian midfielder's league opener appearance turned to despair when he was controversially sent off with just eight minutes on the clock following a tangle with Arsenal Tula's Kantemir Berkhamov.

Despite the Ghanaian expulsion, coach Dmitry Khokhlov's side held their own to earn a point from the match.

"I am grateful for all the players with how they played," he said.

"The referee his decisions did not favour us," the Ukrainians said in retrospect of the red card given to Aziz Tetteh.

"I think that if it were not because of that decision, our attacking play will be much more interesting." "We could have punished them."

The incident left the former Liberty Professionals midfielder feeling despondent but reckoned he will come back stronger.

He is expected to return for the home clash against Ufa on Match Day 4.
