B.Chelsea draw with BA Utd in friendly

Champions Berekum Chelsea played out a pulsating 2-2 draw with second-tier side BA United at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The Blues used the match to assess and test the readiness of some of their stars in preparation for a tricky duel against New Edubiase this Sunday.

BA United on the other hand are rounding up their preparation for the upcoming division one league.

Chelsea who paraded most of their regular players such as skipper Abdul Basit, Emmanuel Clottey,Prince Anokye and Eric Agyeman showed their intent of winning early in the first half.

It was Han Van Der Plyum's side who drew first blood through Clottey who drove home a beautiful free-kick in the 23rd minute.

The Blues continued to dominate possession in the second half before earning a penalty in the 75th minute when midfielder Mamud Oshien was pulled down in the United goal area.

Defender Samuel Kyere converted expertly to put the top flight side 2-0 ahead.

Chelsea then looked on as they threw away the lead late on in the game when Godfred Gyabaa and Kwabena Gyamfi scored for United in the 85th and 90th minutes respectively

BA United also assembled former premier league trio of Kwabena Dodzie,Shilla Alhassan and Richard Atika.
