Germany-based defender Baba Abdul Rahman is the first player to arrive for Ghana's crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan on Sunday.Ã
The youngster touched down in Accra last Sunday and will gear up for the team's first training session on Tuesday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The left-back was in full-time action for his struggling Bundesliga side Greuther Furth who earned a surprise 2-2 draw at Werder Bremen on Saturday.
The 18-year-old will be chasing his senior national team debut having represented the Ghana U17 and U20 teams.
The former Asante Kotoko player has been drafted in to solve Ghana's problematic left-back position.
Rahman has made a lot of impact in the second half of the season in his 12 appearances for the promoted top-flight side.
He has been linked with Schalke 04 and a host of European stellar clubs.
