Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman is expected to participate in his first major continental competition at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals.
The 20-year-old defender played a key role as Ghana sealed qualification for the tournament in in Equatorial Guinea.
The former Kotoko defender has enjoyed a remarkable season in the Bundesliga after sealing a move from second tier side Greuther Furth to Augsburg.
He has made 11 starts in 12 appearances for Augsburg who lie sixth on the table.
Rahman has become a regular in the Black Stars team and is already looking to making his debut.
